About the Federation
The Deaf International Judo Federation is an officially authorized global sports organization responsible for the governance, strategic development, and coordination of all activities related to the advancement of Deaf Judo worldwide.
The Federation’s mission is to create favorable conditions for practicing Deaf Judo, promote excellence in athletic performance, and strengthen international cooperation in the global sports arena.
Its structure includes international offices, coaching boards, qualified referee commissions, and professional judo clubs. Thanks to the well-coordinated efforts of all divisions, the Federation ensures consistent training and development for athletes at every stage — from young beginners to national team members.
The Federation has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the International Judo Federation (IJF), participates in the organization of international tournaments, and provides support for athletes at the Deaflympics, World Championships, Asian Championships, and other major competitions.
